Rogue Valley Terminal

Company History: In 2013, Berkshire Hathaway was in a hurry to divest itself of one of its three railroads. BH quickly accepted an offer from CN engineer Scott DeVries to buy the White City Terminal Railway. DeVries then reorganized the company as the Rogue Valley Terminal Railroad in 2013. Rogue valley is a 14-mile shortline connecting White City, Oregon to the Central Oregon and Pacific. The Central Oregon then connects to the Union Pacific at Eugene, Oregon as well as Black Butte California (by means of the Siskiyou Summit Pass).

Brief History: The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
