Specific Item Information: In 1976, Fay Chin posted a flyer in a local hobby store looking to start a model train club. Many people contacted him with great enthusiasm. After several discussions, they decided N-Trak was the most appealing. At one meeting in 1981, Fay proposed the Northeast N-Trak club name which was adopted.
Northeast N-Trak hosted National N-Trak convention in Boston along with the NMRA convention in 1986. To commemorate the event, Northeast N-Trak produced a 10 year anniversary clkub car, which has become a collector's item. To celebrate Northeast N-Trak's 25 year anniversary, they are proud to present this commemorative club car.

Micro-Trains Line Co. split off from Kadee in 1990 to form a completely independent company. For this reason, products from this company can appear with labels from both enterprises. Due to the nature of production idiosyncrasies and various random factors, the rolling stock from Micro-Trains can have all sorts of interesting variations in both their packaging as well as the products themselves. When acquiring an MTL product it is very important to understand these important production variations that can greatly enhance (or decrease) the value of your purchase.
