History: Commissioned by the German Wehrmacht, the WR360 Locomotive was used as a shunt to position railway guns and was attached to artillery units. Due to the size and weight of the rail guns, two WR360s were often employed for the task for the extra power and to reduce the chance of mechanical failure. There were 129 of these locomotives produced between the years of 1926 and 1941. After the war, many were put to use for civilian purposes.
