Notes: The Rolex Lady Date ref. 69160 features an all-steel finish and a modest design, making it the perfect timepiece for everyday wear. Its use of all-steel also creates an attractive Rolex Lady Date price for beginner and experienced collectors alike. Several factors go into creating the versatile design behind the Lady Date 69160, including a 26mm Oyster case with feminine proportions, a five-link Jubilee bracelet, and a Fliplock clasp. The case boasts a distinct engine-turned bezel that frames the dial beautifully for a flawless style. The dial tends to be the defining characteristic of many Rolex dress watches and this ladies dress reference is no exception. Elegant index hour markers circle the dial alongside matching central hands. A jump date is visible at the 3-hour marker and is a staple of most Rolex dress watches.
Mechanism:
The Calibre 2135 replaced the older Calibre 2035 that had found success inside the Ladies Oyster Perpetual, as well as the ladies and midsize Datejust. When first introduced, 2135, the demonstrated the highest first time pass rate of any movement tested by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute. At just 20mm in diameter and 5.83mm in height, the 29-jewel calibers still manage to provide a 42-hour power reserve. The automatic, self-winding movements beat at 28,800vph, the standard frequency of all modern Rolexes that provides the characteristic eight ticks a second smooth sweep of the seconds hand, as well as giving an increased shock protection.

There is a hacking capability with this movement.
Family Notes: The Rolex "Date" family of watches are smaller and less expensive than their cousins, the "Datejust" family. Date watches are enclosed in 34mm cases, whereas Datejust models are in 36mm cases. Furthermore, the Date models use 19mm width straps while the larger Datejust models use 20mm straps.

Being the less expensive line, new features reach the Date family only after the Datejust watches have already adapted them. For example, the Datejust family received mechanisms with Quickset date capability years before the Date models did.
