Company History: CM&N was established in 1980 to operate a pair of former Milwaukee Road branches owned by the state of Wisconsin. It ran from Viroqua to Sparta and Mineral Point to Janesville. Total length was 116 miles. This operation lasted just two years before falling apart. Central Wisconsin took over the operation of these lines in 1982.
