Transportation Company - Growers Express - Railroad (Fictional)

Company History: Growers Express is a fictional refrigerated car line. It was invented by YesterYear models for their series of special runs which depict colorful billboard style liveries on InterMountain's R40-23 steel and 40 foot wood reefers.

Successor/Parent History:
InterMountain is a manufacturer of detailed HO, N, and Z, scale model trains. They are based in Longmont Colorado. They produce both regular production and special runs on commission. Their product lines encompass both rolling stock and locomotives. They are even brave enough to produce high quality steam locomotives! Their products originally came in kits, but most of their current (2018) releases come Ready-to-Run. They are kown for their early adoption of knuckle couplers and extensive use of separately applied details parts long before their competitors were willing to do the same. The also serve as the manufacturer behind Centralia Car Shops.

Brief History:
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
