Specific Item Information: Every town has one by the tracks, the old junk yard scrap dealer working out of his post war Quonset hut. Now you can create the same scene on your layout. The kit includes precision laser cut wood parts and loads of extras including numerous Monroe Models designed white metal parts (lead free), a resin scrap metal junk pile, corrugated metal fencing, and vintage signs. All of this is packaged with easy to follow step by step "photo" directions.

Included are one laser cut wood structure kit with speedy, easy, solid, tab and slot design. (lead free) white metal detail castings, real metal roofing, metal fencing, a cast junk pile and vintage advertising signs. 3-1/2”L x 2-1/2”W x 1-5/8”H

Model Information: All components are precision laser cut with peel and stick windows, doors, and trim for simple painting and construction. The kits are made of laser cut basswood, micro plywood, fiber board, plastic parts, plus cast chimneys (where appropriate).

Road Name History:
Commercial structures are any buildings or other man-made structures whose principal purpose is trade. These can be high-rise officer towers, gas stations or fruit stands. Any structure where end-user customers come to buy things from sellers of that product or service are consider commercial structures.

This group will therefore include quite large as well as quite small buildings. Models of these buildings might be kits or pre-assembled. They might be painted or undecorated. They might come with a host of accessories and figures or they might be fairly Spartan.

Brand/Importer Information:
Monroe Models was founded in 1994. Originally the produced detail parts, but starting in 2002, they started their own line of model kits. They produce kits of bridges and structures. They produce N Sclae, Z Scale, and HO Scale products. Monroe Models was founded by Bruce Monroe. he has been a life long model maker and more importantly, model railroad builder. After graduating from Bemidji State University with a degree in Industrial Technology with emphasis areas in Model Building, Manufacturing Management, and Industrial Design, he embarked in a career of model making and design.
