Specific Item Information: ("The Young Ones" Vyvian).

Ford Anglia 105E registered 1707 ML. Fans of the 1980s anarchic and alternative comedy series The Young Ones will recall this motor as belonging to Vyvyan, the only one of the four mis-matched students to own four wheels! Note the red flames running along the sides and VYV printed in white in the back window, while the red interior reflects the red external graphics. VYV played a star role in the Demolition episode when Vyvyan used his car to try to demolish the house where he and his off-the-wall mates were living.
Model Information: Factory painted and assembled, the Oxford Diecast line of metal vehicle models are 1:148 (British) N-Scale.
Prototype History:
The Ford Anglia is a compact 2-door car which was designed and manufactured by Ford UK. It is related to the Ford Prefect (4-door) and the later Ford Popular. The Anglia name was applied to various models between 1939 and 1968. A total of 1,594,486 Anglias were produced. It was replaced by the Ford Escort.

Under the Anglia name, Ford actually offered very different body styles over the years of production:
- Anglia E04A (1939–48) - a 2-door saloon
- Anglia E494A (1949–53) - a makeover of the previous model
- Anglia 100E (1953–59) - a modern three-box design
- Anglia 105E (1959–68) - a new design, with a very distinctive backward-slanted rear window

A turquoise 105E (capable of magical flight) is prominently featured in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the film, and the cover of the book as Arthur Weasley's car.
Road Name History:
Some items are designed to have their owner add whatever company marking they choose, usually in the form of decals or dry-transfers. These items are painted in a generic prototypical fashion but with all company affiliation deliberately left off.

Manufacturer Information:
Established in 1993, Oxford Diecast is a British Company that specializes in high-quality die-cast metal vehicles. Produced in various scales, the firm's models are marketed as collector items, gifts, and promotional products. Their N-scale collection is using the 1:148 scale ratio as most British manufacturers.
