Company History: The DCC was established in 2016 by the OmniTRAX shortline group to take over as the designated operator of the 16 mile line between Cisco and Decatur, Illinois from the previous operator, Decatur Junction Railway. The line is owned by the largest customer, Topflight Grain although other customers are also served. The arrangement between Topflight and OmniTRAX is really a joint venture with the railroad taking some responsibility for upgrading the line. This has included opening the Midwest Inland Port, an intermodal ramp featuring a pair of 3,800’ loading tracks.
