Specific Item Information: The deck surface is cut from "Laser Board" with sections lines in place. The foundation is "Stone" etched in MDF wood, which can be reversed to represent a "Concrete" surface when painted. Staircase is also etched in MDF wood and reversible for a "Concrete" look. Finely cut scale hand railings allow easy access for your N scale workers. Dock dimensions are 3 5/8"L x 5/8"W x 5/16"H... representing approx. 48'L x 8.5'W x 54"H in real life. The separate Staircase can be positioned on the end or sides of the dock and measures approx. 1/2"L x 3/8"W x 5/16"H.
Road Name History:
A factory (previously manufactory) or manufacturing plant is an industrial site, usually consisting of buildings and machinery, or more commonly a complex having several buildings, where workers manufacture goods or operate machines processing one product into another.

Factories arose with the introduction of machinery during the Industrial Revolution when the capital and space requirements became too great for cottage industry or workshops. Early factories that contained small amounts of machinery, such as one or two spinning mules, and fewer than a dozen workers have been called "glorified workshops".

Most modern factories have large warehouses or warehouse-like facilities that contain heavy equipment used for assembly line production. Large factories tend to be located with access to multiple modes of transportation, with some having rail, highway and water loading and unloading facilities.

Brand/Importer Information:
"ITLA" stands for Imagine That Laser Art. In business since 2008, we continue to provide our customers with the best in unique, precision laser cut wood model kits.
Bringing precision laser cut scale model kits to a worldwide customer base, our “3D” laser etched and cut wood materials represent masonry, steel, and concrete when painted using basic techniques.
“Configurable by Design”... many of our structure kits are engineered to offer you the opportunity to build the model in a variety of “footprints” and varying wall combinations. Some of our kits can be built in as many as 15 different wall combinations, from background “Flat” to “Shallow Relief” formats, in addition to the Full Walled structure.
