Specific Item Information: Sunbeam's long-time mascot is called Little Miss
Sunbeam. In 1942, illustrator Ellen Barbara Segner was
commissioned by the Quality Bakers of America to create
a marketing symbol of a young child. Over six months
she submitted hundreds of sketches before coming
across the girl who would become the first Miss
Sunbeam in Southern Indiana. The image of the holiday
Little Miss Sunbeam first appeared on a billboard in the
1950s.
Model Information: Add visual interest and excitement to any layout with unique, incredibly realistic animated billboards. These paper-thin light-up signs produce no heat and incorporate many new design features, including improved connectors, no painting required, longer life, and stiffer laminations. All billboards include a 3-cell AAA battery pack (batteries are not included). Current draw: 95 ma.
Road Name History: Some items are designed to have their owner add whatever company marking they choose, usually in the form of decals or dry-transfers. These items are painted in a generic prototypical fashion but with all company affiliation deliberately left off.
