Transportation Company - Torch River - Railroad

Company History: TRR was launched in 2008 when a consortium of local governments purchased the 28 mile line from Nipawin to Choiceland, Saskatchewan from Canadian Pacific. Local officials were particularly interested in saving the line to encourage the future development of a diamond mining operation in Fort à la Corne. In the meantime, traffic consists of farm products pulled by a secondhand GMD-1. The line includes the “Crooked Bridge” over the North Saskatchewan River. The 1,900 foot bridge carries a single lane highway on a lower deck.
Brief History:
Canada is a North American country stretching from the U.S. in the south to the Arctic Circle in the north. Major cities include massive Toronto, west coast film centre Vancouver, French-speaking Montréal and Québec City, and capital city Ottawa. Canada's vast swaths of wilderness include lake-filled Banff National Park in the Rocky Mountains. It's also home to Niagara Falls, a famous group of massive waterfalls.
