Notes: Philadelphia Chippendale chair with elegantly carved crest and splat design with figure-eight motif flowing from the crest rail. This chair is a free adaptation from plate 16 of the third edition of Thomas Chippendale's Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker's Director.
