Notes:
The 6-digit Datejust 41 reference 126300 showcases 904L stainless steel construction. New to the Datejust 41 line, the addition of 904L stainless steel provides a highly resilient and virtually scratch-resistant finish. The 41mm Oyster case measures larger than traditional Rolex dress watches for a masculine fit on the wrist. Rolex's innovative process of screwing the case back, bezel, and Twinlock screw-down crown to the Monobloc middle case ensures waterproof protection up to 330 feet. Within the waterproof Oyster case lies a Rolex calibre 3235 self-winding movement that boasts 14 patents, a new Chronergy escapement, and a COSC certification for a singularly reliable reading. A matching slate dial is set with Chromalight baton hour markers and sweeping hands for a highly visible glow for up to 8 hours. Equipped with the latest in Rolex watch making technology, the Datejust 41 will continue to impress for generations.
Mechanism:
In 2018, Rolex released the Calibre 3235, a
new-generation movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. A consummate demonstration of Rolex technology, at the forefront of the art of watchmaking, this self-winding mechanical movement offers fundamental gains in terms of precision, power reserve, resistance to shocks and magnetism, convenience and reliability. It incorporates the Chronergy escapement patented by Rolex, which combines high energy efficiency with great dependability. Made of nickel-phosphorus, it is also insensitive to magnetic interference. The oscillator, the true heart of the watch, has a blue Parachrom hairspring. Manufactured by Rolex in an exclusive paramagnetic alloy, the Parachrom hairspring is up to 10 times more precise than a traditional hairspring in case of shocks. It is also fitted with a Rolex overcoil, ensuring its regularity in any position.
Family Notes:
No other watch in the Rolex catalog is as timeless or iconic as the Datejust. In the over 7 decades that the Datejust has been in production, the model has seen numerous upgrades, including the use of a larger 41mm Oyster case via the Datejust II. Similar to the 36mm variation of the brand's iconic dress reference, the Datejust II is available in a variety of feature sets.
