Prototype History: Laden container handler

A reach stacker is a vehicle used for handling intermodal cargo containers in small terminals or medium-sized ports. Reach stackers are able to transport a container short distances very quickly and pile them in various rows depending on its access. Reach stackers have gained ground in container handling in most markets because of their flexibility and higher stacking and storage capacity when compared to forklift trucks. Using reach stackers, container blocks can be kept 4-deep due to second row access.

TCM Laden Container Handler: Load capacity range : 320,000kg (3 stack), 350,000kg (3 stack), 305,000kg (4 stack), 180,000kg (5 stack); Power source : Diesel engine (Mitsubishi Fuso 6D24T with turbo charger); Equipped with Mitsubishi Fuso 6D24T diesel engine which has the performance to clear the emission levels equivalently required in EU Stage II, US EPA Tier 2 and Japan Stage 2 ;regulations; Rated output : 243kW / 2200 r.p.m; Maximum torque : 127N-m / 1400 r.p.m;
Road Name History:
Some items are designed to have their owner add whatever company marking they choose, usually in the form of decals or dry-transfers. These items are painted in a generic prototypical fashion but with all company affiliation deliberately left off.

Brand/Importer Information: Fujimoto Hobby is a Japanese manufacturer of N Scale collectible heavy equipment. Each box gets you a different random piece of construction equipment with accurate prototypical details. The items are kits and require some assembly, but as far as I can tell, no glue is required. The collectability/randomness of the box contents are a nod to the success of the Tomytec vehicular product lines. Nevertheless, the kits are interesting and well executed. Also, given that Japanese made construction equipment is very common on US based highway projects, these are models of prototypes you might see anywhere in the world, not just in Japan.

It would be nice if their website an packaging had just a little more English text...
