Description: Simple holiday recipe for sweet mashed potatoes. Serves 6.
Ingredients:
  • 6 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 6 oz half and half
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • 4 oz maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt (for the water)
Instructions:
  • Boil a large pot of salted water
  • Boil the cubed sweet potatoes for 25 minutes
  • Use a blender to mash them
  • Add the half and half and the butter and the maple syrup
