Specific Item Information:
The Nightjet 408 between Leipzig and Zurich is one of the most interesting night trains currently running through Europe. On the one hand, the train consists of wagons from four railroad companies, namely ÖBB, SBB, CD and RDC, and on the other hand, there are two trains that are combined to form a Nightjet in Leipzig. Pulled by a class 101 electric locomotive, the first train section consisting of SBB and ÖBB coaches arrives from Berlin as IC60409. Almost at the same time, the second train section consisting of RDC and CD coaches pulled by a class 193 arrives from Prague as EC 459. The Czech EuroCity is split and the couchette and sleeping cars are shunted to the ÖBB/SBB fleet waiting on the adjacent track. At 23:46, the Nightjet 408 departs for Zurich as scheduled.

Brand/Importer Information:
L.S. Models is a Belgian firm that was created in 1992 with the purpose of offering models of Belgian variants of European rolling stock; it started by offering customized cars based on Jouef HO models. From 1995 to 2001, it was also the Belgian importer for Jouef, Piko, Electrotren, Rivarossi, Lima, Arnold, Bemo and Sachsenmodelle.
Starting in 2000, L.S. Models designed its own original models, starting with an HO scale version of an exclusive Belgian passenger car. Its range later expanded to N scale models and to other European countries (France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, ...).
Its models are highly detailed and received several prizes; they are priced accordingly.
