Company History:
Albany Port Railroad operates 18 miles of track around the Hudson River Port of Albany - Rensselaer in upstate New York. It opened for business in 1932 and was jointly owned by New York Central and Delaware & Hudson. These shares have been inherited by CSX and Canadian Pacific respectively. In addition to serving the docks, APR serves a large Cargill elevator, Westway Feed Products and Harris Rebar.
