Continental Carbon

Company History: Organized in 1936 as a partnership between R.I. Wishnick, Continental Oil, and Shamrock Oil & Gas. First carbon black plant is built that same year in Sunray, Texas.
Continental Carbon operates 3 manufacturing facilities in the US: Sunray, TX, Ponca City, OK, and Phenix City, AL. With the corporate headquarters and technology center in Houston, TX along with distribution facilities in Barberton, OH, Continental Carbon leverages geographic positioning and proximity to benefit its customer base. The recent establishment of EMEA and APAC regional headquarters in Brussels positions Continental Carbon to be a world leader in the manufacture and distribution of Carbon Black.
