Company History:
Operating between 1926 and 1939, the A&WF was a logging line running north from Southport on St. Andrew Bay, Florida to a point near Pine Log Creek north of Crystal Lake, a total distance of about 13 miles. Although the railroad was pointed in the direction of the rail hub of Dothan, Alabama, they never got there. A&WF was powered with a 4-6-0 and a 2-6-2. Both were wood fired and carried siphons to re-water from trackside sloughs and ponds
