Company History: SCCCo, a subsidiary of Peabody Coal, began operating their own coal trains from the Squaw Creek Mine near Boonville, Indiana to the Ohio River port of Yankeetown in the early ‘70s. A pair of former Santa Fe RSD-15 alligators replaced earlier FM units in 1975. These units were replaced in 1986 by a pair of U33C’s, one with a high short hood from Southern Railway and the other from Burlington Northern. The mine closed in 1998
