Company History:
ACE was launched in 1998 to provide commuter train service on the Union Pacific (ex-SP) line between Stockton and Santa Clara, California, a run of 86 miles. The operation started modestly with just 2 trains per day each way. They are now up to 4 per day each way, Monday through Friday. The ACE fleet includes 6 MPI F40PH-3C locomotives and 30 Bombardier BiLevel coaches. In December, 2012 the word Commuter was replaced with Corridor in the name. They have an order pending for four Siemens Charger locomotives with the first scheduled to arrive in December of 2019.
