Company History:
The MC opened on the first day of 2008 to take over as operator of lines owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from the former operator Bay Colony Railroad. The principle traffic is trash moving in former CP Rail hi-side gondolas from Yarmouth and Falmouth to a trash burning generating station in Rochester. The MC is the sister railroad to the tourist hauler Cape Cod Central Railroad. The MC runs a seasonal passenger service to Hyannis.
Brief History:
