Alameda Oakland & Piedmont Electric

Company History: This line appeared in 1893 with the electrification of a former horse-car line serving the greater Oakland, California area. In 1898, AO&PE was merged with Oakland Consolidated Street Railway and Central Avenue Railway to form Oakland Transit Company.
