Company History: Founded in 2001, Transportation Technology Services, Inc. is an engineering and logistics company that specializes in handling all aspects of shipping by rail. We provide engineering design, distribution and wind and project cargo logistics services to railcar builders, manufacturers, shippers, railroads, energy companies and more.

Our clients typically need to move large items, such as turbines, generators and wind blades. We often manage the entire logistics process (from engineering design to transport planning to loading, shipping, unloading and storing). In other cases, we partner with clients to manage a segment of the logistics chain.

TTS manages a fleet of more than 1,200 leased railcars and is responsible for nearly 7,500 dimensional shipments per year. We have longstanding relationships with all U.S. Class 1 railroads as well as many shortlines to facilitate moving shipments as efficiently and effectively as possible. We also have relationships and experience operating in ports across the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Brief History: The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.
