Transportation Company - Owego Harford - Railroad

Company History: OHRY launched in 1992 to lease the 27 mile former Lehigh Valley line between Owego and Harford Mills, New York from the Tioga County Industrial Development Agency. The first year, they hauled just 350 cars. By 2014, that figure had swelled to 4,400. Traffic includes butane, plastics, propane, salt, and scrap. Excursion trains run on this line under the Tioga Scenic Railroad name. The Owego Harford shares management with the Lehigh Railway, Meridian Southern Railway and Luzerne Susquehanna Railway. They seemed to use the name with and without the “and” interchangeably. In 2020, all four railroads were acquired by RJ Corman.
